We offer opportunities for the public to get involved in many of our programs.
Have some fun while learning about wildlife and species at risk. Great activities for home and school.
We celebrate National Wildlife Week by inviting the public to share in our love of Newfoundland and Labrador's wildlife and special places.
Nature watchers have the opportunity to share their sightings of dragonflies, damselflies, and butterflies, or report sightings of Newfoundland marten, short-eared owl, or wolverine through our Biodiversity Monitoring Program.
Salmonier Nature Park offers many outreach programs that give visitors an opportunity to come face-to face-with some of our province's wildlife species in a natural setting. The Nature Park is one of the province's most popular tourist attractions, welcoming more than 40,000 visitors every year: it's also an environmental education centre, a wildlife rehabilitation facility, and a research station. Most of all, it's a place for you to connect with nature and wildlife.
